The scenery and wildlife on this adventure will be breath-taking and life changing! Exploring the boreal wilderness of Torngat National Park - a place unique and rarely visited will be extraordinary.
Our 14-day Greenland to Newfoundland: Mountains, Wildlife and Viking History voyage is a truly one-of-a-kind journey—it is Quarks only itinerary linking Greenland, the Canadian High Arctic, and Canada’s East Coast.
Along the way, we’ll experience the striking contrast between Arctic landscapes of ice, tundra, and polar wildlife, and the boreal forests of the taiga, home to caribou, foxes, black bears, and soaring peregrine falcons.
Our journey starts with a charter flight from Reykjavík, Iceland to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland, where we’ll embark on our expedition aboard the Ultramarine. From there, we’ll explore Sisimiut and Maniitsoq, followed by a visit to Ilulissat, home to Ilulissat Icefjord (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the stunning Disko Bay.
We’ll then cross the Davis Strait to Nunavut for several days of wildlife exploration. Continuing on to Labrador, we’ll discover the remote beauty of Torngat Mountains National Park, visit Nain in Nunatsiavut, and stop at L’Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Newfoundland and Labrador, before concluding our voyage in the vibrant city of St. John's.
Each stop offers rich cultural encounters—from Greenlandic and Inuit traditions to Viking history, ending with the warm, music-filled hospitality of Newfoundland’s Celtic heritage.
This unforgettable voyage carries us from the Arctic to the Atlantic, weaving together landscapes, wildlife, and cultures for an adventure unlike any other.
For details on availability and pricing, please reach out to me well in advance of April 30, 2026. Space on this expedition is extremely limited, and our group allocation includes just 12 spots. The Ultramarine accommodates a maximum of 199 guests.
